Why I Do This Work
My journey into nutrition started long before I ever picked up a textbook.
Growing up, my mum was an aerobics instructor — always ahead of the health trends, always seeking ways to support our family's wellbeing. When she was diagnosed with breast cancer while I was still young, I watched her do everything she could to nourish her body through that fight. She passed away when I was sixteen.
Years later, I lost my dad to cancer too.
These experiences shaped me. They gave me a deep respect for the body and an unwavering drive to learn how we can better support it. Not with quick fixes or fads, but with real, evidence-based care that honours the whole person.
I've been wholefood plant-based for nearly fifteen years now. I completed my Bachelor of Health Science in Nutrition at Endeavour College of Natural Health, and have since undertaken three separate mentorships in microbiome testing, interpretation, and autoimmunity under Dr. Brad Leech — earning me the title of Microbiome Guardian.
Outside of clinic, you'll find me running — it's become a big part of my life and how I spend time with friends and family. Training for races (and working toward a marathon) has also deepened my interest in how we fuel our bodies for movement and recovery.
I love what I do. I love learning, growing, and walking alongside people as they reconnect with their health.
